The Kids of Santiago is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The organization’s mission is to help impoverished children stay in school by eliminating the burdens of having to pay for basic, yet essential resources such as clothing, shoes, food and school supplies.

The Kids of Santiago, currently operates in the small town of San Pablo where nearly 400 children live in poverty and are unable to attend or stay in school because their basic needs are not being met.

The organization operates under the Christian principle of showing the love of God to the world by caring for those in need.

Clothing and Shoes

Clothes never go out of style. We accept clothing of all kinds – pants, t-shirts, baseball hats, socks, underwear. These shoes were made for walking. From infants to teens, shoes are needed.

School Supplies

An essential part of getting kids
to school is providing them
with supplies. Children need
backpacks, notebooks,
pencils/pens, crayons, etc.

Food

Hunger negatively

Whether you collect donations of the essentials, donate funds or your time, you are helping a child and his family in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The essential items will give parents the peace of mind and help needed to send their kids to school. These items are packaged and shipped to the Dominican Republic and distributed to the families every December. Our mission is to fill more boxes to help more kids more than once a year.
